I had the gastric sleeve surgery performed. I had a great procedure, did not have any complications. It has been eleven months, I have lost 171 pounds, and I am off my diabetes medicine, my blood pressure, my cholesterol. I started at 406 as I really up there, I didn’t let it stop me but it was hard getting up and down. Once I had the surgery I started walking and started working out.
I just have loads of energy. I have to find stuff to do during the day so I won’t be bored. They used to call me Big Doug. Now they call me Medium Doug. It has been great. I look at myself going out buying new clothes and shopping. The reactions you get from people who haven’t seen you they can’t believe how good you look. It has been life-changing, it has been very much life-changing.
I would like to thank Dr. Frenzel without him and his staff and being so nice. They talked me through the procedure of what’s going to happen before and afterwards. I can’t thank them enough, it has changed my life and made me a happier person, it has been great.
